Week in Wales
Last week we went to Wales for a holiday. We stayed in a small village called Solva on a sheltered bay near St David's.
The 'blue lagoon' at Aberieddi, near St David's - a stunning coastal walk
There was a field full of alpacas near our cottage
Cilgerran Castle on near Cardigan c. 1100 (thanks to JMG for National Trust membership)
Bucket and spade action at Barafundle Bay near Pembroke (another bit of National Trust coastline)
A rainy day in Tenby - a charming but faded seaside town cut into a hillside
Celtic cross and 'bleeding yew' (oozes red sap) in a churchyard in Nevern, near Newport
Standing stones at Abercastell
There was a toy shop in Solva; Iona got a big red bus
